Latest News:
Musicians of
the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre Orchestra remain locked out during this
seasons presentation of The Nutcracker. Although PBT management met with
the orchestra committee in November to provide financial documents
previously requested by the musicians, and although in that meeting PBT
expressed its desire to return to live music sometime in the future, all
12 performances (including 2 student matinees) will be performed to
recorded music.
The
Musicians of the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre Orchestra ask for your support
to restore live music to Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre.
We
will be picketing in front of the Benedum Center during ALL PERFORMANCES
OF THE NUTCRACKER beginning December 10 and continuing through December
23.
